Bluegrass without Borders

Join the festivities over a jam-packed music-filled four days from Thursday, February 20 – Sunday, February 23rd, 2020 at Bellevue’s Wintergrass Music Festival, one of the biggest and best bluegrass festivals in the country.

Now in their 10th year jamming in Bellevue, you can experience their incredible, global line-up with hundreds of regional, national and international acts performing at the Hyatt Regency Bellevue.  Give your dancing feet a break and partake in one of the many workshops offered throughout the duration of the festival, including songwriting and beginning guitar for all ages.

A Variety of Music Genres

Wintergrass has a large focus on bluegrass music, however, festival-goers will also hear a variety of other styles including Gypsy jazz, Celtic music, Old-Timey, Swedish polskas and many more types of acoustic string music. The performers are from around the world, including groups from Germany, Sweden, Ireland, Italy and more.

There will be multiple jam sessions throughout the event that will reflect the diversity of styles. Be sure to bring your instrument and participate in the music — and don’t worry, there will be an “Instrument Check room” so you can safely stash your instrument while you enjoy shows.
