Traditional dances from Indonesia, ancient Russian folk songs, Native American music and stories, and Hula from Hawaii.
Experience all this and more during Bellevue’s annual Cultural Crossroads Festival, a 3-day celebration taking place at Crossroads Bellevue from November 7-9, 2014. Gain a new worldly perspective – or simply expand your knowledge – at this multi-cultural event which features performances from more than 35 ethnic music and dance groups, dance lessons, an International bazaar featuring handmade crafts, entertainment and fun.
The festival offers a fun experience for the entire family. Children will love the event’s international LEGO display with models representing many cultures and nationalities as well as the “Dolls of the World” exhibit which showcases dolls in ethnic dress from around the world!
And if all that doesn’t whet your appetite, than take delight in one of the many scrumptious, world cuisines being offered during the festival. You won’t want to miss out on this celebration of our community’s cultural riches!
Admission to the Cultural Crossroads Festival is free. For more information about the festival and to see the full schedule of events, please visit the Ethnic Heritage Council’s website.
