Bellevue Summer Outdoor Movies in the ParkWhat better way to enjoy summer nights in Bellevue than by bringing the whole family out to watch free summer outdoor movies? Bellevue Downtown Park, located at 10201 NE Fourth St., will host family-friendly movies every Tuesday evening through Aug. 20 on a massive 40-foot screen with popcorn provided.

Moviegoers are encouraged to bring a blanket or lawn chairs and make themselves at home. Movies begin at dusk (around 9 p.m.), but visitors can feel free to come early and participate in fun activities like Zumba or movie trivia that will take place before the movie. Movie dates are Aug. 6, Aug. 13 and Aug. 20 and featured movies include Life of Pi, Parental Guidance, Chasing Mavericks, and Won’t Back Down. All movies have a rating of “G” or “PG.”

Supporting Local Charities

Each Tuesday, moviegoers will also have the opportunity to support a different charity.

If bad weather prevents outdoor movie watching, movies will be shown at the South Bellevue Community Center, located at 14509 SE Newport Way.

The Summer Outdoor Movies in the Park Series is sponsored by Inteluis and is presented by the City of Bellevue’s Parks & Community Services Department.
