2014 Bellevue Arts Fair: Friday, July 25 – Sunday, July 27
The Bellevue Arts Fair is around the corner. The summertime celebration takes place July 25-27 and is comprised of three separate fairs including the Bellevue Festival of the Arts, Bellevue Art Museum’s ARTSFair and Bellevue’s 6th Street Fair. Showcasing the work of more than 600 artists from the Northwest and beyond, the Bellevue Arts Fair celebrates the connection between the community and the world of arts and crafts. In addition to the art itself, there will be hands-on activities for kids, live musical entertainment and a variety of tasty food from around the world.
Bellevue Festival of the Arts
Now in its 30th year, the Bellevue Festival of the Arts is a weekend affair for the whole family to enjoy. Located by Cost Plus World Market, just north of Bellevue Square, the Festival will have 200 talented artists on display as well as a wide array of food for purchase.
6th Street Fair
At the 6th Street Fair you’ll experience the original work of 130 artists in a showcase of jewelry, sculpture, home décor, wood and glass work, fabrics and more. The fair is a beautiful eclectic mix of arts and crafts.
Much like the Bellevue Festival of the Arts, the 6th Street Fair will have hands-on activities for kids and a variety of food offerings to satisfy your cravings, including gyros, German bratwurst, crepes, Asian-fusion cuisine and much more.
The Bellevue Arts Museum ARTSfair has been celebrating the connection between community and art, craft and design for more than 60 years. The ARTSfair will host over 300 artist exhibits featuring thousands of original words, including painting, sculpture, fashion and jewelry. This is a great opportunity to acquire art directly from the artists. In addition to the artworks, there will also be live music, artist demonstrations, community art projects and the KIDSfair. The KIDSfair is a creative, messy and fun fair dedicated for kids that includes free exhibits, origami pinwheels, carp kites and more.
